General Secretary Trong expressed his respect for the support and important contributions from CPJ to the development of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan .
He said that the traditional solidarity between the two Parties has constantly developed over the past 50 years. The Vietnamese Party and people always keep in mind and are grateful for support and assistance from CPJ during the past struggle for national independence and the current national construction.
The Vietnamese Party leader affirmed that the Communist Party of Vietnam always attaches importance to maintaining and developing relations with the Communist Party of Japan and the theoretical exchange between the two parties since 2007 is a significant activity to boost mutual understanding and share theoretical and practical experience in the revolutionary cause of each party.
Ogata Yasuo, who is leading the CPJ delegation to the fourth theoretical exchange between CPV and CPJ in Hanoi , expressed his joy at the relations between the two Parties and the results of the theoretical exchange, describing the event as an effective form of cooperation between the two sides.
He invited a high-level delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam to visit Japan and attend the fifth theoretical exchange between the two Parties in 2012./.
