Bien Hoa voters complain to provincial leader about illegal sand exploitation activities

(ĐN) – Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc met with voters in Hiep Hoa, Hoa An and Tan Hanh wards, Bien Hoa city from November 8-9 to hear their opinions and complaints ahead of the 8th provincial People’s Council’s year-end session.

A voter in Hiep Hoa commune, Bien Hoa city raises his concerns
Local voters expressed concerns over illegal sand exploitation activities causing erosion and social disruption, while obstructing the waterway, air pollution from industrial sources including factories in the city, traffic congestion and violations of traffic rules, the delay of many projects in the city due to slow site clearance and compensation for affected people and poor quality healthcare services for the elderly.
 
The voters proposed provincial authorities promptly consider and help ceramics manufacturing enterprises to move and relocate in in Tan Hanh industrial complex.
 
Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc said the Provincial People’s Committee will work with police units and relevant agencies in the province to take drastic measures to crackdown on illegal sand mining and social evils as well as ensure traffic order and safety on roads.
