(ĐN)- Malaysian Consul General to Ho Chi Minh City Shazryll Zahiran paid a courtesy visit to the Dong Nai Provinical People’s Committee and met with Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai on October 27 on the occasion of the start of his term of office in the city.
At the meeting with the provincial leader, Mr. Shazryll Zahiran expressed his pleasure to witness the growing ties between Vietnam and Malaysia. Currently, Malaysia has some 390 investment projects in Vietnam with a total registered capital of about US$ 19 billion, of which, 29 projects capitalised at more than US$938.3 million are operating in Dong Nai province.
For his part, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai briefly introduced the province’s FDI attraction policies and its investment environment to his guest. Thai also pledged that Dong Nai would create favorable conditions for Malaysian businesses to invest in the province.
