Dong Nai celebrates 66th anniversary of Vietnam People’s Police

(ĐN)- A solemn ceremony was held in Dong Nai on August 19 to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Police and the sixth anniversary of the ‘All people Protect National Security’ movement.

The event was attended by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council Huynh Thi Nga.

At the celebration, the delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese People’s Police Force in general and Dong Nai  Police Force in particularly over the past 66 years. During its 66 years of development, Dong Nai Police Force has developed continuously, fulfilling the task of protecting national security, defeating all sabotage schemes and activities of hostile forces and crimes, maintaining social order and safety, contributing to the cause of the province’s industrialisation and modernisation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc praised the efforts and achievements the Dong Nai  Police Force has made over the past 66 years.  He also asked the police force to closely cooperate with relevant agencies and departments in the province to strengthen the whole political system and people in safeguarding national security, maintaining social order and serving the province’s socio-economic development.
