Present at the event were Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Thi My Thanh and Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien.
At the celebration, delegates reviewed the glorious and historical victory of Trang Bom district 60 years ago.
Over the past years, the district has recorded achievements in socio-economic development while improving people’s living standards, ensuring social welfare and assuring political security, social order and safety.
Before attending the ceremony, the delegates had laid wreaths at the victory monument in the district and burned incenses to commemorate revolutionary soldiers who laid down their lives for national independence. They had also attended a groundbreaking ceremony to upgrade the victory monument at an estimated cost of VND 1.2 billion.
