At the meeting, delegates reviewed reviewed the glorious history of the force over the past 60 years.  The founding and history of the Vietnam youth volunteers’ forces are associated with milestone events in the nation’s glorious history, such as the wars of resistance, the victory at Dien Bien Phu, the struggles for national salvation and reunification and the movement for building new settlements.  The former young volunteers continue to build on their revolutionary tradition and set a bright example for younger generations.

On this occasion, the provincial Ex-Youth Volunteers' Association presented 15 scholarships to outstanding students who were children of former young volunteers.
