Former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu visits Dong Nai

(ĐN)- On April 20, Former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu visited Dong Nai Culture and Nature Reserve and offered incense at Central Committee for South Vietnam and Eastern Region Party Committee. He was accompanied by Secretary and Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Le Hong Phuong.

During his visits, Mr. Le Kha Phieu highly appreciated Dong Nai’s efforts to preserve local cultural and natural sites. He also suggested the province’s leaders pay more attention to launch the “Return to the Roots” tourism programs to educate the young generation about the revolutionary tradition and encourage them make valuable contributions to the national development process.

At the working session with the provincial leaders on April 19, the former Party General Secretary expressed his belief that Dong Nai would successfully implement its socio-economic development targets. He stressed that the province should continue its efforts to restore and preserve the cultural and historical values.
