In 2010, Dong Nai health sector raised more than VND2 billion to help difficult households, policy families, disavantaged children, and poor soldiers across the province.Particularly, the sector built and handed over three charity houses, provided free medical check-ups and medicines to poor people and policy beneficiaries, took care of eleven heroic mothers and three war invalids, offered charitable meals to penniless patients in hospitals.
In addition, the sector sent doctors and health workers to flood-hit localities, upgraded two medical stations and supplied medicince to flood victims in Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces.
