(ĐN)- On March 4, Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development signed a memorandum of understanding with Alliance Genetics Inc (AG), Canadian swine breeders, on the establishment of a pig breeding center in the province.
(ĐN)- On March 4, Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development signed a memorandum of understanding with Alliance Genetics Inc (AG), Canadian swine breeders, on the establishment of a pig breeding center in the province. According to Chairman of the AG, Mr. Gordon Waters, this centre is the AG’s first investment in Vietnam generally and in Dong Nai particularly. The AG also pledged to transfer pig breeding techniques to local farmers. As known, Dong Nai is the country’s second largest pig producer.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ao Van Thinh believed that the pig breeding center would supply the best quality genetics in the form of the healthiest pig to local farmers, help them to improve economic efficiency.
