(ĐN)- A get-together for village patriarchs, prestigious people from ethnic minority groups, and typical Chinese people in Dong Nai was held on Feb 8. The get-together was attended by Mr. Le Hong Phuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Van Phi, Head of Department for Ethnic Minorities under the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization.

At the get-together, Mr. Le Hong Phuong wished a happy New Year to participants and highlighted the ethnic minority groups’ significant contributions to the province’s development. He hoped that the village patriarchs, village heads, prestigious people and typical Chinese people will continue their bridge role in the building of public relations, contributing to disseminating the Party and State policies, promoting socio-economic growth, and maintaining security and social order.
The village patriarchs and leaders also expressed their thanks to the provincial authorities for their efforts to improve the standard of living of ethnic minorities and help to stabilize their lives.
