The provincial Finance Department reported that budget collection in 2010 is estimated to reach VND 17.8 trillion. This includes VND 10.5 trillion from local sources or 119 percent of yearly estimate. Meanwhile, the years spending is estimated at over VND 6.3 trillion.
The Meeting also discussed and approved the state budget estimate for 2011 in which the total state budget collection would be over VND 19.9 trillion. The figure includes VND 11.95 trillion from local sources, nearly VND 7.48 trillion from imports-exports and VND 500 billion from other sources. The spending in 2011 will focus on key constructions, agriculture, farmers and rural areas, environmental protection etc.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Vo Van Mot praised the efforts made by local agencies in budget collection. He also asked relevant agencies to make further efforts to implement the 2010 State budget collection meeting the requirements.
