The blue-ear disease afflicting pigs in Dong Nai’s suburban districts is now under control, according to the Dong Nai provincial Veterinary Department. The province banned the trading, slaughtering and transport of pigs and related products within the epidemic-affected areas. It has directed localities to strictly implement measures to stamp out and prevent the spread of the disease.
