Over the past two year, the association raised more than VND750 million from 98 organizations and 29 individuals to care local AO victims. Particularly, the association visited and presented Tet gifts totaling nearly VND1.4 billion to AO victims, offered free medical check-ups and medicines to 547 others, built 12 charity houses worth a total cost of VND225 million, and provided monthly allowances for 15 victims. Besides, the association cooperated with Agro Nutrition International J.S Company (Anco) to give 40 pigs to 10 families of AO/dioxin victims.
In the coming time, the association will try its best to assist AO victims in the district, help them to overcome difficulties in life.
On the occasion, Dinh Quan district’s Association of AO/dioxin victims awarded certificates of merit to 3 collectives, 6 individuals and 3 enterprises for their efforts to help AO victims.
At the same day, the association also started construction of a rehabilitation center for AO/dioxin victims and disabled children in Dinh Quan town. The center is built at an estimated cost of approximately VND1.4 billion.
On this occasion, the association and the Anco presented 150 gifts worth VND50 million to AO victims in the district’s communes.
