The third bidding package is undertaken by Posco E&C of the Republic of Korea and will be completed in 36 months. The 9.8 kilometer project has four lanes in the first phase and a designed speed limit of 120 km/h, with a toal capital investment of over VND1,861 billion. Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA), paid by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), accounts for a major part of the fund.
The HCM City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay highway have a total length of 55 km with eight lanes.It is expected to promote socio-economic development and create opportunities for localities in the South-East region to exploit their strength after it open to traffic in 2012.
