(ĐN)- A delegation of NAs Committee on Finance and Budgetary Affairs led by Vice Chairman Trinh Huy Quach had a working visit to Dong Nai province on August 29.
Dong Nai was evaluated as one of provinces that have maintained high growth rate in the inflation situation early this year, however, there are still many difficulties that the province has to face in fulfilling budget collection targets for this year. Over the past three years, state budget collections from central enterprises and foreign enterprises have not been stable, while State budget for development investment is not remarkable.
At the working session, the province’s leaders suggested Ministry of Finance to adjust budget collection targets in 2009 for suitable with local situation and supported Dong Nai with two large projects including VND1 trillion Hoa An bridge and VND60 billion Cau Dau lake projects.
According to Director of Dong Nai Department of Planning and Investment Bo Ngoc Thu, many waste water treatment and environment protection projects worth a total of VND10 trillion are waiting for investment approval. But first, Dong Nai needs VND1 trillion to spend on social security projects to implement its solid development plan from now until 2010.
