Provincial delegation visits Trang Bom district to discuss boarding houses for workers

(ĐN)- On August 12, the Dong Nai provincial delegation led by Mr. Huynh Van Toi, Head of the provincial Department of Propaganda and Training visited Trang Bom district and met with representatives from local agencies to discuss boarding houses for workers.

During their stay in Trang Bom, the delegation visited boarding areas and dormitories where a large number of workers were living in.

Overall, more than 60,000 workers now work in the district,  40% of those are from other provinces and cities. Boarding houses have become a major need of workers in the district. Currently, there are 9,404 rooms for rent in the district, providing the housing for over 22,000 workers. Besides, about 7,000 workers are living in boarding-houses built by Vietnam Precision Industrial Co., Ltd, Great Veca company and Phong Thai Group house.

Mr. Huynh Van Toi said that the district has various kinds of boarding houses for workers that meet the housing demand of workers. He added the delegation would propose the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee to develop boarding-house models across the province.
