Number of malaria patients slightly up in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Sources from Dong Nai province’s Department of Health said over 300 cases of malaria had been reported in the province from the beginning of the year until now, a 18 percent increase year-on-year.

(ĐN)- Sources from Dong Nai province’s Department of Health said over 300 cases of malaria had been reported in the province from the beginning of the year until now, a 18 percent increase year-on-year. However, there was no death case related with malaria. The majority of patients are in Vinh Cuu and Tan Phu districts. In the first seven months of 2008, around 116,700 people in the province protected from malaria, achieving 41.7 percent of the year’s plan.
