Dong Nai Newspaper presents gifts to outstanding students in Tien Giang

(ĐN)- On May 31, Editor-in-chief of Dong Nai Newspaper Tran Huy Thanh arrived to Nhi Binh village, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province where he attended a closing ceremony of the school year 2007-2008 held by Nhi Binh Junior High School. At the closing ceremony, Editor-in-chief Tran Huy Thanh presented gifts to outstanding students in the school year 2007-2008.

Nhi Binh village is a native land of Bui Van Hoa, a fallen combatant. Nhi Binh is a poor village in Tien Giang province but there are innumerable examples of poor students who have overcome challenges to achieve good results in their studies. In the past school year, Nhi Binh school’s 10 students were awarded prizes at the district level competition and 2 others received prizes at the provincial level competition.

During the past years, press agencies in Dong Nai province including Dong Nai Newspaper have organised visits and presented gifts to policy families in Nhi Binh village in order to show the gratitude to Hero Bui Van Hoa who sacrificed his life in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.
