(ĐN)- Speaking at a seminar on enhancing operation quality at district-level libraries held in Dong Nai on May 28, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai said that the library sector should make more efforts to further improve the operation quality of the libraries in the next time. Nearly 150 representatives from 64 provinces across the country attended the seminar.
The country now has more than 600 district-level libraries with hundreds of thousands of copies of books and scientific materials.
At the seminar, participants analyzed and evaluated achievements as well as limitations of the district-level library network during the past time. Accordingly, the representatives contributed opinions to enhance the operation quality of the district-level libraries.
Today, May 29, the representatives will visit libraries in Trang Bom, Tan Phu and Dinh Quan district.
