Province’s leaders visit and wish a happy new year to units

(ĐN)- On December 31, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga visited and worked with Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority (Diza), Dong Nai Customs Bureau, Dong Nai Development and Investment Fund, Dong Nai provincial Army Section and Incombank’s Bien Hoa Industrial Zone Branch.

In the year of 2007, the units made efforts to strengthen their position, contribute to successful implementation of the Provincial Party Resolution. Accordingly, the province’s industrial zones attracted more than $1.7 billion and VND1,272 billion in investments, the highest over the past years; the Customs Bureau collected VND3,500 billion in tax, reached nearly 109 percent of the year’s target; the Development and Investment Fund’s loan turnover increased by 11 percent, State budget contribution up by 191 percent; Incombank’s Bien Hoa Industrial Zone branch reported a profit of 70 billion in 2007. In the visits, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh praised efforts made by the units to reach their targets for the year. He expressed his hope that they will continue strive to achieve development objectives in a sustainable manner.

Standing Deputy Secretary Le Hong Phuong presents flowers to Dong Nai Taxation Bureaus leaders

At the same day, a delegation led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai visited and wished a happy new year to Dong Nai branches of VDB and BIDV, the Provincial Treasury, Dong Nai Lottery Company, and Dong Nai Taxation Bureau. Although facing many difficulties and challenges, almost units fulfilled their targets. Particularly, Dong Nai Taxation Bureau, until Dec. 29, collected 6,520 billion in tax, reaching 102.8 percent of the whole year estimate; Dong Nai Lottery Company achieved a turnover of VND1,440 billion, an increase of VND140 billion compared to last year, contributed VND356 billion to State budget, up VND12 billion; BIDV’s Dong Nai branch raised the mobilised capital by 53% over the previous year. Speaking at the visits, Standing Deputy Secretary Le Hong Phuong highly appreciated contributions of the units to the province’s development and expected that they would make further efforts to fulfill their tasks in next time.

On this occasion, the provincial leaders’ delegation including Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot, Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Vice Chairmen of the provincial People’s Council, People’s Committee Huynh Chi Thang and Ao Van Thinh visited and wished a happy new year to Dong Nai branches of State Bank, Agribank and Vietcombank, the provincial Bank for Social Policies and Dong Nai province Police. On the whole, the units achieved and exceeded the year’s targets. Chairman Vo Van Mot praised the units’ achievements and efforts in the past year and hoped that the units will continue to make all efforts to contribute to the province’s socio-economic development in 2008.
