(ĐN)- Late last week, Tri An Hydroelectric Plant has celebrated its 20th anniversary and received the third-class Independence Medal from the State President. Attending at the ceremony were Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang.

The plant came into operation in 1988 and eased the serious shortage of electric energy in Southern areas of
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang praised the efforts made by the plant’s officials and employees to keep capacity stable to serve local needs as well as contribute to the national power grid. On this occasion, Director Nguyen Kim Phuc was also presented the third-class Labor Medal.
