(ĐN)- Late last week, the Executive Board of the 8th term provincial Party Committee convened an extraordinary session to discuss and contribute opinions to the provincial Party Committee’s action programme on rapid and sustainable economic development in Dong Nai.

At the session, the provincial Party Committee’s Executive Board defined Dong Nai’s economic growth targets until 2010. Accordingly, the province will continue to maintain a sustainable high economic growth rate and enhance its competitiveness in the market. Besides, more efforts will be made to expand traditional export market and to find new ones. Dong Nai will also concentrate to speed up agricultural and rural industrialization and modernization.
In order to achieve the set targets, the province needs to pay attention to improve the investment environment as well as the competitive ability of products and services; combine economic development with the settlement of socio-economic problems. Especially, Dong Nai will focus on developing high-quality human resources to serve the requirements of industrialization and modernization.
