Over 400 projects introduced at Southern fair

(ĐN)- In two days, October 30 and 31, Southern Key Economic Zone Investment Mart 2007, the first inter-provincial investment fair in Vietnam, was held at the Reunification Palace, HCM city.

The Southern Key Eco­nomic Zone comprising HCM City, Ba Ria- Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Long An, Tay Ninh and Tien Giang, is the most dynamic economic development area with a high, sustainable growth rate.

The event aims to provide the eight provinces and cities with a good opportunity to introduce their projects for investors, especially foreign investors.

During two-day fair, the provinces and cities presented 407 projects in need of investment, with a focus on developing infrastructure, real estate, new urban areas, tourism, energy, hi-tech and IT, financial services and services.

Dong Nai’s enterprises participating in the fair included Sonadezi, Amata, Donataba, Tin Nghia, and Thong Nhat Company. Accordingly, Tin Nghia called for investment in 23 projects, Sonadezi introduced the project of Chau Duc urban industrial zone in Ba Ria Vung Tau province.

Speaking at a workshop to introduce Dong Nai’s potentiality, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai affirmed that Dong Nai is an attractive and safe destination for investors. He also pledged that Dong Nai authorities will make all efforts to create more favorable conditions for the investors.
