Chairman Vo Van Mot receives Chinese delegation

(ĐN) In the morning of November 5, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot warmly received a representative delegation from Hunan province’s Federation of Labour Unions led by Vice Chairman Tran Kien.

(ĐN) In the morning of November 5, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot warmly received a representative delegation from Hunan province’s Federation of Labour Unions led by Vice Chairman Tran Kien.

 

Hunan has an area of 211,800 sq km with total population of more than 67 million, 9.1 million of whom are laborers. The province’s annual average GDP growth rate is 14.2 percent. Presently, Hunan province’s Federation of Labour Unions has 8.8 million members. According to Vice Chairman Tran Kien, Hunan and Dong Nai provinces have the same concerns. Particularly, both of the provinces plan to promote industrial development towards modern, infrastructure development and environment protection, etc. During the three-day visit to Dong Nai, the delegation visited and worked at Chang Shin Co., Dong Nai Rubber Co., and Nhon Trach district’s Party Committee.  

 

Chairman Vo Van Mot said that Dong Nai is now paying attention to training skilled worker in order to meet the industrial development requirements. Besides, more efforts will be also made to improve the living conditions of laborers. Therefore, it’s necessary for Dong Nai to learn and exchange experience with other countries.

 

At the working session, the two sides shared experiences on trade union operations, the protection of labourers benefits, and collective labour dispute resolution.
