Dong Nai to build Bio-technology Centre

(DN)- On October 29, the Provincial Party Standing Committee worked with the provincial Peoples Committee, Department of Science and Technology and relevant agencies to discuss the construction of Dong Nai Bio-technology centre. The meeting was presided over by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh.

According to plan, the centre will be built on an area of 200 ha in Xuan Duong commune, Cam My district with a total capital of nearly VND200 billion. It is estimated to start construction in 2008 and complete in 2012. The centre, including administrative area, research area and experimental production area, has the function to develop and apply bio-technology in agricultural production, diagnosis and treatment.
