Ajinomoto Vietnam grants scholarships to 240 poor pupils

(ĐN)- Lately, at the provincial Square, the Ajinomoto scholarship granting ceremony was held with the attendance of Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga.

(ĐN)- Lately, at the provincial Square, the Ajinomoto scholarship granting ceremony was held with the attendance of Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga.

 

At the ceremony, 240 scholarships worth total VND145 million were awarded to poor students in the province. Particularly, the company granted 190 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to primary students and 50 others valued at VND1 million each to high school students.

 

The scholarships financed by Ajinomoto’s scholarship fund entitled “Help pupils to go to school”. The fund was established in 2004 with the aim of helping poor outstanding pupils in Dong Nai province, HCM city and Ha Noi.

 

This is the fourth time Ajinomoto VN has given scholarships to Dong Nai’s poor students

 

On this occasion, Department of Education and Training awarded certificate of merit to Ajinomoto Vietnam for its contributions to the local study encouraging movement.
