Vietnamese Ambassador to the US pays working visit to Dong Nai

(ĐN)- On September 21, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai received and worked with Vietnam’s new Ambassador to the US Le Cong Phung.

(ĐN)- On September 21, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai received and worked with  Vietnam’s new Ambassador to the US Le Cong Phung. At the working session, the province’s leaders briefed on Dong Nai’s advantages and difficulties in socio-economic development. Accordingly, they hoped that the new ambassador will help to promote Dong Nai’s image to US investors, attract investment projects in the fields of agricultural product processing, technical infrastructure , eduacation and training, tourism and service.

Until now, about 22 US projects with a total registered capital of US$202 million have been invested in Dong Nai province. 

Speaking at the working session, the new ambassador Le Cong Phung said that it’s necessary for Dong Nai to call on foreign investors to invest in the fields of high techonology, education, training, health in the next time. It’s good if the Dong Nai province has more universities, high quality hospitals, vocational training schools. He also promised that Vietnamese Ambassy in the US will make all effors to encourage more US investors to come to Vietnam generally and Dong Nai particularly.
