Phuong Lam market in Tan Phu district starts construction

(ĐN)- On September 25, Tan Phu district’s People’s Committee held a ceremony to start the construction of Phuong Lam market in Phu Lam commune. Total construction cost is estimated at VND 11 billion, of which half is funded by the provincial budget, the remaining half is contributed by the stall owners.

Total construction cost is estimated at VND 11 billion, of which half is funded by the provincial budget, the remaining half is contributed by the stall owners.

The market is built on an area of 2,000 sq.m by Construction Company No.5. As known, 100 percent of Phuong Lam market was burnt by fire in 2003,  more than 200 stall owners had to pitch tents themselves to continue doing business. The construction of the market will meet the demand of the stall owners and the local consumers.

The project is scheduled to be completed within nine months.
