(ĐN)- Degremont, the French wastewater treatment technology company has recently signed a contract to provide equipment and build a water treatment plant for the project “Nhon Trach Water Supply Plant” in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province. Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai and Mr. Tony Hargave, Degremont’s Regional Director for Asia Pacific attended the signing contract ceremony. The contract is valued at more than VND 338 billion and will be executed in 26 months.

The Nhon Trach water plant has a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters a day in the first phase with a total investment of VND 1,424 billion. Investment capital comes from loan resource through Japanese JBIC Bank. The plant will supply clean water to residents living along highway 51 and in Nhon Trach district as well as to factories located in these areas.
