
(ĐN)- In the morning of July 7, at the meeting hall of Dinh Quan district’s People’s Committee, Dong Nai Garment Joint Stock Company (Donagamex) held a solemn ceremony to receive the third-class Independence Medal and open the Dinh Quan Garment Factory.
Donagamex has made incessant efforts to maintain high growth rate during the past years. Particularly, it invested to innovate technology, expand production and improve product quality to be able to compete more effectively in the global market. Over the recent six years (2001-2006), the company achieved an annual average growth rate of 19 percent, annual turnover of VND128 billion-VND253 billion. The company provided stable jobs for more than 3,000 laborers, with average monthly income of over VND 1.8 million. Presently, Donagamex has 10 garment factories with a total capacity of more than 5.6 million products per year. Its turnover is estimated to be over VND400 billion in 2007.
