4th Congress of Dong Nai province’s War Veterans Association held

(ĐN)- On July 20, the 4th congress of Dong Nai province’s War Veterans Association was held at the meeting hall of the provincial Party Committee with the attendance of Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Ngoc Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga, Vietnamese heroic mothers and Heros of the Peoples Armed Forces.

(ĐN)- On July 20, the 4^th congress of Dong Nai province’s War Veterans Association was held at the meeting hall of the provincial Party Committee with the attendance of Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Ngoc Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga, Vietnamese heroic mothers, Heros of the Peoples Armed Forces, and more than 200 representatives from agencies, branches and units in the province.

In the past term, the War Veterans Association organized many practical and effective activities to contribute to the development of the province. Accordingly, the Association made all efforts to build its branches to become strong and pure units, actively take part in activities “Paying debts of gratitude” and public welfare projects, etc. Besides, the Association increased its efforts to provide its members with seed and animal breeding stock, improve their access to credit to enable them to expand production and increase their income.

At the congress, 27 people were elected members of the Executive Board headed by Colonel Nguyen Tri Thuc.
