(ĐN)- Mr. Ho Nghia Dung, the Minister of Transport and the Director of the National Committee for Traffic Safety recently paid a working visit to Dong Nai province. The Minister had a working session with leaders of Dong Nai People’s Committee and the provincial relevant agencies about the province’s traffic safety and major transportation projects.
(ĐN)- Mr. Ho Nghia Dung, the Minister of Transport and the Director of the National Committee for Traffic Safety recently paid a working visit to Dong Nai province.
The Minister had a working session with leaders of Dong Nai People’s Committee and the provincial relevant agencies about the province’s traffic safety and major transportation projects. The Minister heard reports by officials from Dong Nai’s Department of Transportation and Public Works on progress of the construction of highway 56 project, matters related to the construction of the new bridge and roads in Dong Nai, relocation of inhabitants from Long Thanh International airport area and other matters.
At the meeting, representatives of the provincial relevant agencies have made suggestions to the Transport Ministry to settle problems arising in the process of implementing transportation projects in the province and to allocate capital for the national-level projects. Besides, representatives of the provincial Traffic safety committee also proposed ways to ensure traffic safety in Dong Nai.
The Minister said that the province’s suggestions are reasonable and the Transport Ministry will consider to allocate budget for major transportation projects in Dong Nai in the next time.
