(ĐN)- Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Member of PCC, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Dong Nai province recently stressed at a conference in Dong Nai that the need to further improve investment climate in the province conducive to both domestic and foreign businesses. He also said that Dong Nai will continue stepping up investment promotions and provide new incentives in order to attract more foreign investment and advanced technology and management for the province’s economic growth. In his addressing at the Conference, Chairman Thanh urged the provincial relevant agencies to undertake effective measures for the State budget collection in 2007, prevention of tax evasion and smuggling and delayed execution of the capital construction plan as well as to try to achieve targets set for 2007.
Dong Nai will begin to fulfill WTO commitments in 2007. That is the year in which the province will strive forward to reach GDP growth rate of 15 percent - its highest level ever. Next year’s target aims for industry-construction to account for 57.4 per cent of the economic structure, service 30.2 per cent, agriculture, forestry and fishery 12.4 per cent. Next year, Dong Nai Province will make breakthrough for the development of the provincial economy.
