(ĐN)- Dong Nai Newspaper recently held a solemn ceremony at the meeting hall of the provincial party committee to celebrate its 60-year history and 30-year anniversary of its official founding. Present at the celebration were Le Hong Phuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Huynh Thi Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, representatives of provincial agencies, the former leaders of the Dong Nai Newspaper, guests from other newspapers and all the staff of the newspaper.
On behalf of Dong Nai newspaper, Do Trung Tien, Deputy Editor-In-Chief of the newspaper, reviewed the history of the newspaper. The first newspaper that was under the name of the Dong Nai paper was published in the war zone D in June of 1946. This paper was printed by roneo.
Tien also reviewed the achievements of the newspaper over the past 30 years since its official founding in February 1976.
On the occasion, Mr. Le Hong Phuong awarded the Provincial Party Committee’s laudatory writing to the Dong Nai Newspaper.
Addressing at the ceremony, Phuong praised the contributions made by Dong Nai Newspaper to the cause of industrialization and modernization as well as promotion of the local economic development during the past years. He also stressed the need to further develop achievements recorded by Dong Nai Newspaper over the past years and urged the newspaper’s journalists to work harder to improve their professional skills in order to meet the public’s increasing demand.
On this occasion, Dong Nai Newspaper presented souvenir gifts to the former leaders of the newspaper and the staff who has made active contributions to the development of the newspaper.
