(ĐN)- On December 26, the Dong Nai Electric Company held a summarization meeting of power supply in rural areas for 2001-2005 period. During the past five years, the company has invested over VND 204 billion for developing electric wires system, electric station in order to improve the quality of power supply in rural areas.

(ĐN)- On December 26, the Dong Nai Electric Company held a summarization meeting of power supply in rural areas for 2001-2005 period. During the past five years, the company has invested over VND 204 billion for developing electric wires system, electric station in order to improve the quality of power supply in rural areas. Accordingly, 683.617 km of medium –voltage electric wires and more than 1,219 km of low-voltage wires have been put into service. Besides, an additional VND 16.45 billion has been invested to upgrade power grid networks. As a result, the percentage of rural households with access to electricity reached 92.89 per cent by the end of 2005, an increase of 16.43 per cent over 2000. In period 2006-2010, the company plans to build additional 881 km of medium –voltage electric wires and 1,961.62 km of low-voltage wires in rural areas and to continue upgrading its power supply systems.
