December events and celebrations in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- On November 29, Mr. Huynh Van Toi, member of the Provincial Standing Committee of the Party and Head of the Department of Propaganda and Training of the Dong Nai Party Committee chaired a meeting with representatives of the provincial Steering Board for Organisation of Important Anniversaries to discuss upcoming activities for next month to be held in Dong Nai.

The next month will see a number of major celebrations in Dong Nai including the 60th anniversary of the national resistance day, the 60th anniversary of the founding of the war zone D and the 45th anniversary of the foundation of the South Vietnam’s Central Committee. Major celebrations will be held at the Dong Nai Culture and Sports Complex on December 22. Besides the official ceremony, many other activities will be held during the month such as camping entitled “The Journey to the Former War Zone D”, exhibitions with topics related to “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” “The war zone D in the past and present” and “the liberation soldiers”. A series of activities will be planned, including a variety of cultural events, such as a week-long cultural festival of southeastern provinces, an awarding ceremony for winners of “the Eastern spirit” contest, a trade fair, film shows …
