[Photo series] Over 1,000 people join the “Nationwide Physical Exercise” event in Dong Nai

More than 1,000 people enthusiastically participated in the “Nationwide Physical Exercise” program held at Dong Nai Sports Training and Competition Center (Facility 1).

On the morning of November 9, at the Dong Nai Sports Training and Competition Center (Facility 1 in Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province), the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Vietnam Olympic Committee (VOC) and Herbalife Vietnam Co., Ltd. (one of the leading companies in health and fitness) to organize the “Nationwide Physical Exercise” program. The event aimed to raise public awareness about the benefits of physical activity and the importance of combining it with a balanced diet to maintain overall health.

Attending the event were Le Thi Ngoc Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and Ngo Quang Vinh, Member of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Olympic Committee.

Speaking at the event, Ngo Quang Vinh, Member of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, said the event is a meaningful and favorable opportunity to encourage everyone, regardless of background, age, or ability, to come together and take part in sports activities for a better life and a brighter future.

He emphasized that the event also helps people better understand the role and noble meaning of Vietnamese sports and the Olympic movement, thereby fostering a healthy lifestyle and encouraging more people to support and practice sports in the true Olympic spirit: “Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together”.

The program included activities such as a 1km run, mass exercise performances, and pickleball competitions. In addition to promoting physical health, the event also created opportunities for interaction and connection among participants, contributing to the growing development of the local mass sports movement.

The program attracted over 1,000 participants from provincial departments, agencies, mass organizations, sports clubs, students, and residents in the locality. Earlier, the first event took place on October 4 in Binh Phuoc Ward.

The event is an initiative of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, held across 17 provinces and cities from September to December 2025, with the support of Herbalife Vietnam. Through this series of events, the organizers aim to encourage communities, particularly locals, to raise awareness about the importance of physical exercise in daily life, thereby contributing to the development of a healthier and more well-rounded society.
