Son Tra trees bring a stable income to the Mong ethnic people of Toa Tinh commune in Tuan Giao district of Dien Bien province, a source of money whih has supported the community for several decades. |
As many as 220 households in the commune grow Son Tra trees, with the total area spanning 140 hectares. |

Large Son Tra fruit is priced at between VND12,000 and VND15,000 per kilogram and between VND8,000 and VND10,000 per kilogram for smaller ones. |
