Situated close to the border with China approximately 300 km north of Hanoi, Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark covers a total area of 3,000 km2 |
The site spreads over many districts of Cao Bang province, including Ha Quang, Tra Linh, Trung Khanh, Ha Lang, Phuc Hoa, Hoa An, Nguyen Binh, and Thach An. The park is most well-known for its high rate of biological diversity, along with being home to abundant endemic flora-fauna species and ecosystems. |
A total of nine different ethnic groups live throughout the park, including the Tay, Nung, H’Mong, and Dao people, each with rich cultural identities and unique traditions |
