The field is most crowded when it enters the harvest season
Salt farmers have to go work from the early morning and manage to finish their work as soon as possible in order to avoid the burning sunlight in the field
Men undertake hard work, including foraging and collecting sea salt.
Meanwhile, women load sea salt into bamboo baskets to be carried to the drying place.
Despite the hard work, the field is filled with joy and laughter.
The weather plays an enormous role in the making of sea salt. The sunnier it is, the more bountiful the crop will be. If it is raining, all of the farmers’ efforts would be worthless
