Eight awesome Vietnamese beaches that are perfect for a summer vacation.

1. Tra Co

Tra Co, some eight kilometers from Mong Cai town in the northern province of Quang Ninh, is said to be the longest, wildest, and most romantic of all of Vietnam’s beaches. What's more, the 15-kilometer long beach offers visitors not only blue water and white sand, but also centuries-old buildings like churches and communal houses. Then there is seafood that can be got for reasonable prices from fishermen right at the beach.

2. My Khe

My Khe is one of many beautiful and famous beaches in the central city of Da Nang. If you are willing to overlook its crowd, the beach is an ideal vacation spot with gentle waves and lots of activities to try like fishing, diving and surfing. Another plus is the 24/7 presence of lifeguards around the beach.

3. Lang Co

It is part of Lang Co Bay, which is 25 kilometers north of Da Nang and a fixture in the most beautiful bays in the world list. If you are one of those who love beaches but do not want to limit your vacation to sand and water, Lang Co is the place for you. For, not far from the beach are mountains, swamps, primeval forests, and historical sites.

4. Ly Son Islands

A trip to Ly Son Islands, around 30 kilometers off the coast of Quang Ngai Province, is truly a summer breakaway. It consists of three islands that make up a total area of 10 square kilometers and have many wild beautiful beaches suitable for camping. Ly Son is also famous for pagodas and temples.

5. Nha Trang Bay

The bay is undoubtedly one of Vietnam's most popular destinations among foreign tourists. Since it is surrounded by 19 large and small islands, most of which are worth visiting, the bay's waters are gentle.
With beautiful coral reefs, Nha Trang is especially popular with tourists who love diving and want a close look at the underwater beauty of the sea.

6. Mui Ne

Though its popularity has increased in recent years, Mui Ne in the central resort town of Phan Thiet is still quiet compared to many other beaches in Vietnam. Its wildness can be found in the lines of coconut trees along streets and sand hills. Mui Ne, in short, is a place for those who love to have a quiet vacation.

7. Con Dao Island

Beaches on Con Dao Island, situated 97 nautical miles off the Vung Tau coast, are known for their purity.
But the best thing about Con Dao is that it is one of the best places in Vietnam to admire the rising and setting sun. And, you can do it from anywhere on the island. Local seafood specialties are yet another thing to check out there.

8. Phu Quoc Island

Situated some 62 nautical miles off the southern province of Kien Giang, the island boasts many beautiful beaches, mountains, forests and great bio-diversity. Small islands around Phu Quoc are ideal for activities like cruising, fishing, diving, and camping.
