Ao Dai museum tells the story of the Vietnamese traditional long dress and its changes in the social development process.

 
 

Ao Dai museum tells the story of the Vietnamese traditional long dress and its changes in the social development process.

Located at Long Thuan garden house, Long Phuoc ward, the museum realises the 10 years long dream of designer-artist Si Hoang.

Visitors to the museum will have a good chance to experience Ao Dai making process, from its design, cutting, sewing, drawing to embroidering.

The museum’s mainly located in a long house

On the right side are Ao Dai through historical periods

On the left side are Ao Dai worn by women who had great contributions to the country in the 20thcentury, including general Nguyen Thi Dinh, diplomat Nguyen Thi Binh, diplomat Ton Nu Thi Ninh, people’s artist Bach Tuyet, actress Tra Giang, professor and doctor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong and designer Minh Hanh.
