Hanoi’s Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is hosting an exhibition of more than 100 photos celebrating Vietnam’s cultural heritage.
The exhibition, opened on November 8, honours the best of the 6,016 entries submitted to the 2013 Heritage Photo Awards.
It is also intended to mark Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23 to encourage community participation in cultural heritage preservation.
The awards ceremony will be held at HCM City’s Thong Nhat (Reunification) Palace on November 21.
Sixteen provinces and cities across the country have planned similar photography exhibitions between now and February 28, 2014.
