Vietnamese photographer Le Duy Hoang has won third prize in the Hamdan International Photography Award’s (HIPA) black-and-white category.
Vietnamese photographer Le Duy Hoang has won third prize in the Hamdan International Photography Award’s (HIPA) black-and-white category.
His winning photograph captures the joy of a group of Vietnamese fishermen returning to port.
The 2013 HIPA, the third since 2011, is themed “The Beauty of Light”.
Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the award’s patron. Prizes on offer are worth a total of GBP248,000.
All prize-winning photographs will be exhibited in London later this September.
