Heading north, visitors walk along the Hoai River on Bach Dang Road, then cross An Hoi Bridge into Nguyen Phuc Chu Str on the other side of the river to see the dazzling light reflecting from different lanterns. This is a famous place where they can make a good choice of lanterns at a more reasonable price than at shops in downtown.
Lantern frames are made from bamboo, steel or wood and the covers from paper, silk or cloth. Traditional designs are preserved, but the only difference is local people now use electric bubs instead of candles to light the lanterns.
