Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen has recently signed Decision No. 5679/QD-BYT on abolition of four administrative procedures in the pharmacy domain.
Under the decision, the following procedures shall be abolished:
- Grant of license to foreign company to do trade in drugs and medical ingredients in Viet Nam;
- Re-grant of license to foreign company to do trade in drugs and medical ingredients in Viet Nam;
- Grant of license to foreign company to do trade in vaccines, biological and ingredients thereof in Viet Nam;
- Re-grant of license to foreign company to do trade in vaccines, biological and ingredients thereof in Viet Nam.
The abolition follows the Pharmacy Law 2016, Decree No. 54/2017/ND-CP dated May 8, 2017 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Pharmacy.
