Decree No.149/2018/NĐ-CP elaborating Clause 3 Article 63 of the Labor Code regarding application of workplace democracy will come into effect since January 1, 2019

Decree No. 157/2018/ND-CP regulates the regional monthly minimum wage for those working at businesses.

As of January 1, 2019, regional minimum wage levels will be increased as follows: Region 1 – VND4.18 million (US$180), Region 2 – VND3.71 million (US$160), Region 3 – VND3.25 million (US$140) and Region 4 – VND2.92 million (US$125).

Decree No. 158/2018/ND-CP regulating on the establishment, reorganization and dissolution of administrative organizations will take effect since January 10, 2019.

Decree No. 159/2018/ND-CP on management of dredging operations within seaport water and inland water areas will come into effect since January 11, 2019.

Decree No. 160/2018 / ND-CP detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the law on natural disaster prevention and control will take effect since January 1, 2019.

Decree No. 161/2018/ND-CP amending and supplementing some regulations on recruitment of public servants, civil servants will come into operation since January 15, 2019.

Decree No. 162/2018/ND-CP providing sanctioning of administrative violations in the field of civil aviation will take effect since January 15, 2019.

Decision No. 47/2018/QD-TTg on pilot food safety investigations at districts and communes at nine localities including Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong City, Da Nang City, Can Tho City, Thanh Hoa Province, Ha Tinh Province, Dong Nai Province and Gia Lai Province.

Circular No. 117/2018/TT-BTC amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 279/2016/TT-BTC stipulating rates, regime of collection, remittance, management and use of fees for food safety and hygiene affairs will come into effect since January 15, 2019.

Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BKHĐT of the Ministry of Planning and Investment guiding the implementation of Decree No. 57/2018/ND-CP of the Government on policies for enterprises investing in agriculture and rural development will take effect since January 20, 2019.

Circular No. 01/2018/TT-VPCP of the Government Office on guiding the implementation of some provisions of Decree No. 61/2018/ND-CP on implementing the single-window and inter-agency single-window mechanism in handling administrative procedures.
