The Government and the PM issued 19 legal documents, including 13 Decrees and six Decisions in the first month of 2018, according to the Ministry of Justice.

The following are some of them:

The Government on January 15 promulgated Decree No. 09/2018/ND-CP on detailed implementation of the Law on Commerce and the Law on Foreign Trade Management regarding goods trading activities of foreign investors and foreign invested entities in Viet Nam.

The Decree was designed to remove obstacles and shortcomings emerging in implementation of Decree No. 23/2007/ND-CP.

The same day, the Government issued Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP on guiding implementation of some articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management regarding trade remedies.

The Decree, including seven charters and 96 articles, covers regulations on procedures, duration, and basis to end investigation of trade remedy cases; identification of losses of domestic production; responsibilities of relevant agencies in investigation process among others.

Decree No. 13/2018/ND-CP dated January 23 is expected to clarify provisions of the Law on Access to Information, including rights to access to information for the handicapped and people living in border, sea and island and disadvantaged areas.

Decree No. 14/2018/ND-CP dated on January 23 on border trade activities, which includes six charters and 26 articles, was designed to detail Article 53 and Article 54 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.

The Government chief signed Decision No. 01/2018/QD-TTg on January 16 to abolish Decision No. 72/2013/QD-TTg providing for the financial mechanisms and policies applicable to border-gate economic zones.
