The Government has released a decree on management and protection of security and order at border ports.
The new decree regulates that vessels, crew members, passengers on board have to register entry procedures at the first border ports upon their arrival.
Foreign vessels and passengers are requested to accomplish exit procedures at their final destinations when leaving Viet Nam’s maritime territory.
Vietnamese vessels, crew members, and passengers on Vietnamese vessels are required to complete exit procedures at the final border ports.
Transit vessels are required to accomplish transit procedures when entering Viet Nam’s maritime territory.
Under the new decree, border procedures are processed electronically and by hand./.
