Sine June 17, the landlines codes in 23 cities and provinces will be changed.
The third phase of changing landline codes will be realized in 23 provinces and cities, including Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh,Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Kon Tum, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Vinh Long, Binh Phuoc, Long An,Tien Giang, Binh Duong, Ben Tre, Tay Ninh and Dong Thap.
Four northern provinces of Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Hoa Binh and Ha Giang maintain the old codes.
During the transition period, which will last for about one month from the date the new codes take effect, users can dial landline numbers using either the old or new codes.
Earlier, the first and second phases were applied for 36 provinces and cities from February 11 and April 15, respectively.
